The practical and interactive element of Ka Mate Ka Mate – an exhibition tribute the original Māori All Black team by Te Wānanga o Aotearoa. Ka Ora Ka Ora represents a research project intended to immortalise the multiple disciplines of art taught by the staff in the Papaioea region, while allowing the public to experience directly the qualities and timelessness of Māori art.
Over the duration of the exhibition there will be a variety of elements for public viewing and participation, including whakairo (carving), raranga (weaving), rauangi (visual) and kapa haka (performance). Proudly presented by Te Wānanga o Aotearoa.
