You are cordially invited to join the author Theresa Sjoquist, the Northland Craft Trust, and David Ling Publishing in celebrating the release of the biography of Northland’s iconic artist, pioneer potter, and inspired arts educator, Yvonne Rust, QSM.

As part of the celebration, a 15 minute historic episode of TVNZ’s Looking at New Zealand will be screened. Fire on the Coast is a documentary originally screened in 1970 and highlights Yvonne’s activities in and around Greymouth and the West Coast where she introduced the concept of using natural resources for artistic pursuits and as a way of producing value-added income.

Yvonne Rust – Maverick Spirit will be available for sale and the author will sign copies
