Hoe Tonga Pacifica Waka Ama Association are hosting a Waka Ama Regatta to celebrate the beginning of Matariki and welcome all to the waterfront to watch crews compete.

Entries are now closed for this event and participants number 120+, ages of competitors range from 13 - 60 years of age and experience from junior, novice to experienced paddlers who have national, international and world titles.

Many thanks to the Wellington City Council who are supporters of this event, Inform Fitness and Altitude Inc, Taonga have been sponsored by WCC, Te Puni Kokiri, Te Wananga o Aotearoa, Maangai Whānui Trust, Hoe Tonga Pacifica and Hoturoa Barclay Kerr who has dedicated a taonga to support junior teams in our region.
