Join the Maritime Archaeological Association of New Zealand (MAANZ) for a talk by Helen Beaglehole on the Pencarrow lighthouse - New Zealand's first lighthouse.

This illustrated talk at the Museum of Wellington City & Sea will look at the construction, equipping and maintenance of the lighthouse and its place within New Zealand's lighthouse system.

Two of Helen’s books are available for purchase through the museum shop as well as the Guardians of the Light DVD and themed gifts and memorabilia.
