"To be or not to be, that is the question."
But the questions on the minds of the precious and precocious egos in Hamlet Dies at the End are more like ‘when’s lunch?’ and ‘where’s the good weed?’ This wry, satirical poke at the acting profession is a play about plays and a humorous confession of humanity’s foibles.
Writer Gavin McGibbon (winner of Playmarket's Write Out Loud competition, 2008 & 2009) delivers a new satirical comedy about a group of would-be actors turning Shakespeare’s finest into its absolute worst.
Under the guidance of acclaimed director Lyndee-Jane Rutherford (Winner, Best New Director, Chapman Tripp Awards 2006), you’ll relish this black comedy as a cast with over 100 years combined stage experience act like they have none at all.
A comedy drama to warm your heart this winter, you won’t know the ending of this theatrical debut until you see it.
Where there's community theatre, there's drama.
