The cars are cool. Rock’n’roll is king. And Faster Pussycat Kill Kill are the baddest, whiskey swilling rock’n’rollabillies in the ‘hood.
Is it very serious or silly? With music about serious experiences such as one night stands, high school runaways and V8 motors, these cats are ‘50s and ‘60s inspired, with influences such as The Sonics, The Kinks, Wanda Jackson, and Brian Setzer. But instead of recreating such music, Faster Pussycat fuse it with their modern formulated rock’n’roll... Hence the birth of surfabilly rock 'n’ roll.
