It's 1995! South Island dairy farmer Dickie Hart is off on the trip of a lifetime - following his beloved ABs to South Africa for the World Cup. With Zinny, Fitzy and big Jonah on the team, how can they possibly lose?

Leaving the cows and the wife to take care of each other, Dickie heads into the great wide world for the very first time. We follow him as he encounters big games and big game, Zulus, Aucklanders and other foreign cultures, and learns a heap about himself along the way.

Downstage and Armstrong Creative have partnered to present this all-new production of Roger Hall's classic. Starring Gavin Rutherford (Le Sud), it's an entertaining one-man show about the things we love - our country, our game and our Kiwi sense of humour.
