Hot on the heels of ‘Guys and Dolls’ is the annual Wanganui High School Performing Arts Concert 2011 ‘Hit the Lights’.

This sell-out concert in 2010 highlights the incredible, diverse talent of the performing arts students. These students punch well above their weight when it comes to performing.

This year the line-up includes:
The kapa haka group ‘Kia Whaiora’; Smokefree Rockquest 2nd and 3rd place bands fresh from the regional finalists; ‘High Brass’ –The WHS brass quartet; Year 12 and 13 dance classes; The Performing Arts Academy students; Glee Choir and more...Plus: Stage Challenge 2011 – “Cocoon”.
