Diedre Irons is one of New Zealand's most admired and best-loved pianists. She will be performing a solo recital for the Waikanae Music Society on Sunday 19 June. Her programme includes Beethoven's Sonata in C Opus 2, No 3, two Chopin Nocturnes Opus 27, and the great Fantasy in F minor by Chopin. Also on the programme are Gillian Whitehead's Tumanako and Ravel's masterpiece Le Tombeau de Couperin.
