Kaleidoscope's newest production has a jungle theme and is set in the rapidly declining rainforest. Focusing on the environmental impact humans are having on the planet, the heroine of the story understands the plight of the animals and the rainforest.
The rainforest is under attack from the evil Mr De Groot and his drilling team, and the inhabitants are being driven away... what can we do about it? What ensues is in typical Kaleidoscope fashion, with comedic karmic comeuppance, a dash of existential angst and a rip-roaring, uplifting, everything-will-be-all-right finale!
Over 70 performers from Waiheke Island aged from 4 years upwards with the majority being children and teenagers perform dances underlining this story with an environmental message.
