Part of the Auckland Festival of Photography.

Premier screening 7pm, 3 June

Julie Benjamin presents Gladys Cunningham's 1950s slides. Take an armchair trip down memory lane with this slide show of Huia's Foster Bay and Auckland in the 1950s and '60s. Gladys Cunningham (1902-1998) was an avid amateur photographer who used her camera to record numerous family events and holidays. Through her transparencies we also get a glimpse of a larger social narrative of life and leisure in New Zealand 50 years ago.
