Ahoy there pirates and pirate apprentices! Become a pirate onboard Rotorua Museum this Sunday between 11am and 2pm.

Make an eye patch, create your own pirate hat, receive a pirate scar (face paint) and learn how to twist a balloon into a highly dangerous sword.

There’ll also be a pirate will be on deck to read stories, give lessons on how to “Yarr,” and answer pirate questions. What will you ask?

Any experienced pirates out there, come along and help us train our next pirate crew!

The event is included with admission to the Museum, which is free for Rotorua residents with proof of residency (usual admission fees apply for non-residents).
