All the way from the USA, Tom Warrington (bass), Joe LaBarbera (drums) and Larry Koonse (guitar) have performed with some of the biggest names in jazz including Buddy Rich, Woody Herman, Freddie Hubbard, Tony Bennett, Bill Evans and Cleo Lane to name but a few.
The Trio will be supported by the 101 Lab Band - a 14-20 piece guitar group for new performers led by Manawatu guitar tutor Kevin Downing.
Most 101 Lab Band performers are students of Kevin Downing, but this band also includes students of Graham Lovejoy, Christine Parker, and drum teacher Ted Frickleton.
