14 singing groups from 8 secondary schools in the Manawatu, Rangitikei and Wairarapa compete for selection to represent the region at the national finale in Wellington from 22-24 August. Each group will present a 10 minute bracket of songs which will be assessed by Auckland adjudicator John Rosser.
Day competitions commence at 10.30 and continue throughout day to approx 4pm with luncheon break from 12.30pm to 1.50pm. Gala Concert in evening commencing at 7pm and concluding approx 8.30pm.
