The Manawatu Striders Winter Series of events starts again on 12th June 2011. This year all our events are sponsored by Vautier Pharmacy.
There are 3 events in the series - 12 June, 3 July, 24 July. With distances of 5km and 10km for the first 2 events, and 5km, 10km and 15km for the last event on 24 July there is something for everyone.
Use this series of events just as a way of keeping your fitness regime "up and running" or use it as part of your training regime for the Manawatu Striders Vautier Pharmacy Half Marathon on Sunday 14th August.
Note that our start location is slightly different from previous years. This year we will be starting from the Manawatu Pavilion on Ongley Park. This is also known as the croquet pavilion.
Spot prizes, good company, and tea and bikkies at the finish. Look forward to seeing you all there!
