A public programme where participants can prepare, cook and sample a variety of foods that were traditionally eaten by early Maori and are still eaten today. Methods of catching, trapping, planting and harvesting will also be discussed during the programme delivery.

Food types: Silverbelly eel, huhu grubs, pāua, pūha/ watercress, taewa (Maori potatoes), fish, rewana bread, shellfish.

Bookings essential.
