Pecha Kucha is fun, fast, information. It's a mix of the old-fashioned slide show and public lecture - a great chance to interact with the local community and meet new people.
The format originated in Tokyo and is a unique, rapid-fire event with each speaker showing 20 images, each for 20 seconds. With each presentation lasting just six minutes and 40 seconds, the audience experiences an exhilarating variety of ideas and projects.
Pecha Kucha has spread virally to over 300 cities worldwide. The South Auckland editions of Pecha Kucha Night are always noted for showcasing the 'soul of the community'.
The special Pacific Arts Summit Pecha Kucha Night promises to be packed with the creative ideas and energy of many talented artists, practitioners and thinkers. Don’t miss out!
