32 teams, involving 28 schools (secondary and intermediate) battle it out at the Trusts Stadium in Henderson, West Auckland, to see who will become 'Ki-o Rahi Champions of Tamaki Makaurau'.

There will also be a manu aute (kite) making competition, stalls with traditional Maori games, kapa haka, artwork, mau rakau, raranga (flax weaving) indoor waka ama paddling competition, and other stalls.
