Sir Mason Durie is Deputy Vice-Chancellor at Massey University and also Professor of Māori Research and Development. Professor Durie is one of New Zealand’s foremost academics, and has undertaken extensive research into many facets of Māori development. More recently he has been involved in futures planning and the likely impacts of global trends such as climate change, technological innovation and population mobility on New Zealand.

His lecture will examine changes to New Zealand’s constitutional arrangements, especially over the past 25 years and will provide some markers that will be relevant to New Zealand in the future.
