Today’s busy society appears to value extraversion in a variety of different ways. Enthusiastic participation is rewarded from kindy onwards, the popular/cool groups are usually social and chatty. So how can we value, support and nurture the quieter children for whom the world can be a noisy and unwelcoming place? Sue Blair has some insights from her own experiences and will share some excellent resources and practical tips on how to make these lovely children feel good about themselves.
