Parents have the privilege of training children’s character and sharing truth about the world, themselves and God. This practical, creative and relaxed workshop will explain why giving children a faith is so important, and give you ideas for teaching your children the Christian story in such a way that it will become the highlight of everyone's week.
Mary Grant:
Coming from a background of primary teaching, Mary has spent her working life, with her husband Ian, in youth work, parent education and creative children’s programmes. She founded and edited Parenting magazine and was a co-founder of Parents Inc., writing and collaborating on much of the programme material for seminars, Attitude and Toolbox.
Mary was awarded the Queens Service medal in 1990 for services to youth and in 2005, along with Ian, the Auckland Mayoral Living legend award. A mother of three and grandmother of ten, Mary’s current passion is to use her talents and experience in creating resources to help parents pass on faith to their children in the home.
