Learning to handle powerful, hot emotions is a huge challenge. Some ways of suppressing anger can result in even more toxic consequences. This session will help you understand anger in yourself and your child, and give you the skills to train your child to control their anger, direct it and even use it positively.

John Cowan:
John has been a presenter and writer for Parents Inc. for more than sixteen years. He has a great ability to make people listen, as well as laugh and even sometimes cry. Using stories, humour, multimedia with a unique presentation style, he informs, entertains and educates. John is married to Naomi with whom he often presents and they have three teenage children. He is an experienced parenting educator with a background in medical research, youth work and family counselling, and John is also an accomplished broadcaster and author.
