Stagefright

Stagefright is a 5 piece rock band formed in 2007 with a penchant for classic rock, and a firm belief that covering this genre is best left to those who were there. We pride ourselves on faithful cover versions ranging from the '50s through to the present day, while throwing in the odd original for extra flavour.

We are fortunate to have on board over 250 years of combined musical and entertainment experience which enables us to tackle just about any song and do it justice. In addition, every note is produced on stage without racks of sequencers, loops or fancy gizmos of any kind.

We are a bunch of guys who have been friends for many years and love playing music together for all types of events. We attain a good deal of satisfaction seeing audiences enjoy themselves as well as indulging in our own boys' night out.

We present Stagefright, driven by the engine room: Phil (drums) & Al (bass), Len (gat), and Mark & Geoff out front switching across gats, keys & various percussive devices. We all sing, well just about all, and specialise in 4-part harmony.
