With Ruth Tai.
The old time Maori viewed nature with great reverence, for every living thing was seen as a reflection of Io Great Spirit. Prayers of gratitude were always chanted upon entering a forest and prayers asking permission before taking from the forest. This session will share the holographic view Maori have about the forest and the interconnectedness of the species that come under the guardianship of Tane Mahuta and hine Wao, spirit caretakers of the forest and all life within. Species from the Mercy Spirituality Centre will help us in our quest for deepening our knowing.
See our other 4 talks in this series dated 14 & 21 June and 5 & 12 July.
