Favourites:
Steel Magnolias, by Robert Harling, and directed by Pam Logan, is a heart-warming story set in a hair salon in Louisiana during the 1980s and based on a true event. The play follows six special women from one neighbourhood whose lives are bonded together through family and friendship, love and loss - and through humour.
The cast for the play contains two women new to roles on the Boathouse stage, Sarah Taylor and Lily Sullivan, and four seasoned players in Christina Mackay, Micke Hilhorst, Kate Parker and Ruth Mercier.
