Tiramarama refers to 'the glistening of the stars' - an appropriate title for this star-studded Matariki Festival event. This special evening of entertainment showcases collaborations of contemporary Maori artists with other musical genre including the jazz sound of the Nathan Haines band, Australian Idol winner Stan Walker, legendary 'polyfonk' band Ardijah, soulful singer/songwriter Tama Waipara, diva Maisey Rika, Pacific duo Adeaze, and taonga puoro group Reo.
Artists will perform acoustic songs as well as songs accompanied by the Auckland Chamber Orchestra conducted by Peter Scholes. Special guest kapa haka Te Waka Huia will also perform. Don't miss it - book now!
