Come and be part of the legend! For this year’s winter school holidays, The Outfit Theatre Company presents its adaptation of one of the oldest and most exciting stories of all time: the legend of King Arthur.
Meet Wart: stable-sweeper, amateur inventor and general all-round embarrassment. When the famed wizard Merlin arrives in his village to recruit their bravest warriors for a noble quest, Wart is selected to join... as a bag carrier. As our band of heroes bumble their way through enchanted forests, defeat evil villains, and finally reach the Sword in the Stone, can Wart find the courage to transform from lowly stable boy to noble King Arthur?
Following on from the success of ‘Treasure Island’ in 2009 and 2010 The Outfit has created King Arthur, another equally-exciting action-packed show.
The Outfit Theatre Company is an emerging Auckland-based theatre company consisting of young professionally-trained actors dedicated to creating quality, high-energy entertainment for all ages. In 2009 and 2010 The Outfit’s adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s much-loved adventure story ‘Treasure Island’ was a roaring success.
