As you know at the end of each month we have our regular dose of side-splitting, stand-up comedy for ya, featuring some of the stars of the recent NZ Comedy Festival..

As always, we have another fantastic line-up to get get your laugh muscles working overtime...

Winner : 'Best Female Comedian' 2008 NZ Comedy Guild Awards
Winner : 2003 Billy T Award for Comedy

After winning the 2003 Billy T Award Justine has established herself as one of New Zealand’s premier comics, regularly touring New Zealand and Australia.

Her solo shows, The Justine Smith Hour, Return Of The Jussi and Jussi Town have garnered critical acclaim and she is recognised for her appearances on the Comedy Gala, the AotearoHA series and as host of TV3s Divas.

Rhys Mathewson

2010 Billy T Comedy Award Winner

At the 2010 New Zealand International Comedy Festival, Rhys was written into NZ comedy history when he was awarded the coveted Billy T Award with his show Rhyspect, making him the youngest ever recipient at only 19 years of age.

Since then Rhys has appeared on C4s The Jono Project and TV3s WannaBEN,7 Days, and AotearoHA, plus TVNZs YouTube channel Unstuck TV. Rhys was recently nominated for Best Male Comedian at the 2010 NZ Comedy Guild awards. Rhys is also a regular and MC at The Classic.

At only 20 years of age, his energy and youthful take on complex issues has seen him recognized and now acknowledged as a comedic force among his local and international peers.

Nick Rado

Nominee: 2011 Billy T Award

Nick Rado originally from Titahi Bay, New Zealand has performed standup comedy to
critical acclaim in England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Netherlands, Hong Kong, the United States and now New Zealand. Nick has recently returned home after living in the UK where he held the position, Executive Producer of Londons Heart Breakfast show, He has been nominated and has won numerous UK Sony Radio awards. Nick has performed at some of the worlds most famous clubs which include Jongleurs, UK, The Comedy Cafe, Amsterdam and the world famous Los Angeles Comedy Store.
