Come and enjoy 30mins of sacred and secular music played on the 2 manual/pedal pipe organ at St Peter's Anglican Church, Takapuna. David Brookes will give a description of each piece of music and the composer, with interesting and sometimes amusing facts. You will also be able to observe the organist playing, with the console placed in a central position in the church.
Occasionally a guest organist, instrumentalist or vocalist will be invited to add variety to the programme.
You are also welcome to participate in light refreshments after the concert. A coin donation would be appreciated.
