With special guest Boss Christ in Paekakariki.

Cult figure, gospel trash preacher, founder of the hugely influential Swiss record label Voodoo Rhythm Records, and leader of cult band The Monsters, Reverend Beat Man is coming to New Zealand for the first time this July for a nationwide tour of special shows.

On a one-man mission from the blues trash church of Switzerland with only a guitar, kick drum, hi-hat and microphone Reverend Beat Man tells stories of the dead, the living, killing, and lost love, preaching from the church of trash. This is voodoobilly, music to ruin any party, a hurricane of wrong religion!

Joining the Reverend is one-man disaster ghost orchestra and Voodoo Rhythm artist Delaney Davidson, a troubadour of the open roads, spreading his ghost songs across the world. A truly world class performer of the real life macabre.

Catch these two living touring legends as they whip through New Zealand in a whirlwind frenzy! See them in a show that holds a mirror to life! You have never seen anything like this before anywhere ever!

More about the Reverend…
For some, rock 'n' roll is a pastime, while for others it is a lifestyle. But for Swiss singer/songwriter and one-man band Reverend Beat Man, it is nothing short of a religion.

With one foot planted firmly on each side of the line which separates heaven from hell, the saved from the damned, and the saints from the sinners, Reverend Beat Man baptises obscure music seekers in a river of sound wholly unique to him, offering his many listeners a sacrament of primitive rock 'n' roll, gospel trash, surreal folk, and wild blues.
