Anna Leese is a graduate of the University of Otago, the Royal College of Music and the Benjamin Britten International Opera School. She has won numerous awards, performed at the BBC Proms, appeared in gala concerts with José Carreras and released recordings of a recital with Graham Johnson and a Haydn disc.

Kirsten Simpson graduated from the University of Canterbury in performance piano, and the Royal College of Music. She has performed with Dame Kiri Te Kanawa and accompanied Dame Malvina Major and Sir Howard Morrison on their New Zealand tour.
