The New Zealand Orchid Society is proud to present its annual Winter Show. Orchids are the most evolved and specialised flowers of the plant kingdom. Highly sought after, and in some cases extremely rare, they were once the preserve of Royalty or the wealthy, however, these wonderful plants can now be obtained and grown by anyone.
Come along and view the many and varied collection of both common and unusual plants on display. With the exceptionally warm winter we have had, this promises to be a bumper year for flower numbers as well. With hundreds of blooms on display, plus a plant sales area, this will again be a great show.
