Dave Dobbyn - Harmony House

At these exclusive Ascension Wine Estate indoor shows, Dave Dobbyn reflects and reinterprets some of his favourite songs from a catalogue of writing that spans three decades. To help with the fresh new versions he is joined by musicians L. A. Mitchell, Mark Vanilau, Ross Burge and Marcus Lawson for this intimate night of musical celebration.

Dave Dobbyn is one of the most significant of New Zealand musicians. He's enjoyed success as a solo artist and as a member of the bands Th'Dudes and DD Smash. Dobbyn has won more awards for songwriting than any other New Zealander, and in 2001 he was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Australasian Performing Right Association (APRA). The terms 'icon' and 'national treasure' have been used in reference to Dobbyn; some of his songs have achieved a similar status.

Doors & bar open 7.30pm show starts 8.30pm (concludes around 10.30pm).

Tickets $59pp, theatre-style non-reserved seating.

Pre-show dinner option ($49) from 6pm - limited availability - those who attend the pre-show dinner will receive a complimentary upgrade to the reserved section closest to the stage for the show.

The menu is yet to be finalised but will consist of breads on the table, a main choice of beef or fish, and dessert plus tea / coffee. The pre-show dinner is $49pp and must be booked and paid for in advance.
