It's 1941. The American pacific fleet are "over sexed, over paid and over here". In Auckland they call dancer Dora Hart the "Sweetheart of the Service". Before the War though, she was famous for a different reason. Called as a witness during the murder trial of Milos Radev, Dora is accused by the defence of having had an affair with the alleged poisoning victim, Milos' wife Adele. Told in flashback through the eyes of Dora and loosely based on the real life Mareo trial in the the early 1930s, the play explores a fictionalised background to these charges.

Held in the New Place Theatre, Universtity of Waikato.
