This practical workshop will reinforce the use of macro, the flash and correct composition. Children will learn what makes a great photo plus have the starting tools to exercise their creativity with the camera. Highly interactive, fun and informative – for parents too! Bring camera with charged batteries, an empty memory card, manual and USB cable. All children must be accompanied with an adult. Suitable for children aged 5-15 years.
Stuart Hale:
Stuart is a trained primary teacher who has specialized in computers in education for the last 25 years and has brought that specialisation to lecturing in pre-service for early childhood. During this time he has worked with schools, staff and students to explore the full extent that ICT can be integrated in a teaching and learning environment which is centred on the needs of the learner.
He has trained hundreds of NZ teachers and pupils in the use of digital cameras to capture that moment by taking control of the camera.
