Magic has always been controversial, but in late medieval Europe it was a topic of serious intellectual debate. This was to change with scientific revolution of the seventeenth century. Greg Dawes, Associate Professor in Philosophy and Religion at the University of Otago, will speak about what happened to magic in the age of modern science. In association with the exhibition Dane Mitchell: Radiant Matter Part II.
