Rugby widow Pam Hooper has a point to prove – girls can play rugby just as well as the men! To prove it, Pam forms a rag-tag 7-a-side team to compete in the local town competition, and arranges a warm-up game with the local veterans, coached by her husband, Tom. Tempers fly, as do insults and even fists, as the action gets heated in this fast-moving comedy from New Zealand author, David Geary.

Pack of Girls opens at the Gaslight Theatre on 9th July and runs until the 23rd. Tickets available from Wright’s Booksellers, Victoria St, Cambridge priced from $15 (matinee Sun 17th), $20 (show only – Wed 13th/Tue 19th/Wed 20th), to $45 (dinner & show – Sat 9th, Thu 14th, Fri 15th, Sat 16th,Thu 21st, Fri 22nd, Sat 23rd).
