Aqstik Soul

Aqstik Soul are an exciting and very talented duo consisting of Mal Lakatani on vocals and guitar and Semi Leo on vocals and bass guitar.

Hugely experienced, they have been performing regularly in the corporate scene and overseas (UK, USA, Australia and Pacific Islands) for almost two decades. Mal and Semi have also backed popular NZ acts such as Che Fu, King Kapisi, Te Vaka, J Williams, Ardijah, Lapi Mariner, Aaradhna, Anonymouz, Hypnotics, Jamoa Jam, Tama Waipara, Frankie Stevens, Allegro and many others.

As well as being amazing musicians, Mal and Semi are both accomplished singers and there are always plenty of harmonised melodies in their songs. Aqstik Soul have a very diverse repertoire ranging from soul to jazz, rock to funk, reggae to old school, disco, rnb as well as top 20 and island music.
