Nathan Avakian, from Portland, Oregon, was the 2009 overall winner of the American Theatre Organ Society (ATOS) Young Theatre Organist Competition. As a musician, Nathan’s mission is to showcase the versatility of the theatre organ by playing music from a wide variety of eras and styles, everything from classics to contemporary pop, including the music of Mancini, Brubeck, Vierne, Gershwin, MIKA, Kern, and Disney. We are thrilled to welcome this emerging theatre organist on his very first tour of Australia and New Zealand.

Enjoy a true "Pops" program of music from the light classics, the 30s and 40s, the shows and right on up to today.

See "close up" on the giant screen, the organist making music on this unique pipe organ complete with its own percussion section of drums, cymbals, piano, harp, xylophone etc. All real "live" percussion instruments - truly a one-man unit orchestra.
