A night for the ages. From over 800 short films nationwide, it all comes down to this one night.
V48 Hours is officially NZ's largest film competition! It's a cinematic bootcamp where filmmaking teams have just one weekend to make a short film. All creativity: writing, shooting, editing and adding a musical soundtrack, must occur within the 48 hour window.
The completed films were screened in heats to an eager audience. Then the best films were selected by judges to compete in the city finals.
And now the ten best of films from all 800 compete alongside Sir Peter Jackson's Wildcard Picks in the first ever V48 Hours Live Grand Final at the Mighty Civic.
