Join in the fun at the Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki's KidsClub, created especially for 5 to 10 year olds. Look, learn, and create in special workshops with tutors and the Gallery Guides.
This weekend's KidsClub: Giant Landscape. Imagine being the size of an ant! Today we create a detailed landscape seen from the perspective of a tiny insect using pencils, paint and collage and the photographs of Brian Brake as a starting point.
Booking information:
Cost: $8 per child including materials. Ideal for all budding artists from 5 to 10 years. We advise booking to avoid disappointment - telephone (64 9) 307 4540 between 10am and 5pm or email kidsclub@aucklandartgallery.govt.nz
Workshops start promptly at 11am and 2pm so please arrive early to confirm your booking. Workshops are for 1 hour duration.
Workshops may be documented and images used by the Gallery for publicising children and family activities. Please let Gallery staff know if you do not wish your child to be filmed or photographed.
