Jackal are a four-piece band based in Auckland. With a wide range of influences, Jackal have created a unique progressive rock-meets-psychedelic sound that has captured an interest in Auckland's alternative scene. All A Sudden Darkness are a five-piece rock band from West Auckland who focus on creating smart, dark arrangements with strong melodies. 10.20pm

'Lion Eyes' is a three piece outfit from the wilderness of Waitakere. Forming in mid 2009 the trio have been working hard to develop a distinct style and a highly energetic and entertaining live show. 9.30pm sharp
