The Auckland Cosplay Ball was started in 2009, it's run by users on the Cosplay New Zealand forum. The ball is a time for people new and old to cosplay to meet new people and be entertained.
This years theme is "circus", which does not mean you need to dress to that, but will be what the event is themed after. Featured will be a cosplay showcase, cosplay performances and a murder mystery.
The Auckland Cosplay Ball welcomes anyone who likes costumes or enjoys the fandoms people commonly cosplay from.
