John the Baptist are pleased to announce the release of their new EP 'The Great Mountain Haul.'
This year has been marked by a few awesome shows for the band, but overall a bit low-key compared to previous years. Rather than running 'round the gig trail, the boys took some time off to produce 'The Great Mountain Haul' - their second EP to date.
Recorded at Wellington's Surgery Studios in the capable hands of Ryan Prebble, the songs were each captured live to provide the true nature and nuances one would experience at their shows. The resulting record has a fitting warmth and authenticity one would hope to find in such music as this.
