A week of creative entertainment and education for children.
Creative Days – ‘Role Play’ (Mon, Wed & Fri)
Taking advantage of our tutor's interest in multi-disciplinary art, Creative Days is going to be a series of workshops that will cater to the interests of all the children enrolled. The workshop will include art activities from handcrafts to performing arts and covering a wide range experiences, tools, materials and art forms.
During the workshops the children will build up a character including its look, personality, costume, background and environment. Children will have the opportunity to assume their character, meet each others' and play in the wonderful world of imagination!
Over the course of the workshop children will make costumes for their characters, make a mask and other props. They can also create a story/ history - for the character (what kind of family, what do they like to do, where do they live, their dreams, fears and so on).
As a group the children will build an environment for their characters to live in. On Friday the 28th at 3pm families are welcome to come and have a tour though the land they have created and meet the characters that have been invented.
Play with Clay (Tue & Thur mornings)
This fun hands on workshop lets children investigate and build with clay. These are freestyle workshops where children make anything they dream of and our talented tutors will teach them how!
Craft’a’noons (Tue & Thur afternoons)
Painting, drawing and creative fun, these afternoons classes are going to be all about exploring techniques and mediums.
Children can been booked in for the whole week, a whole day or just a morning/afternoon class.
Suitable for ages 5 and up (Children under the age of 7 are asked to have a older sibling or adult with them.)
All materials are supplied!
