Enjoy an evening with Jenny Pattrick, the famous author of the "Denniston Rose" and other historic novels. The settings of one of New Zealand´s most successful books is Denniston — 125 years ago, a bleak and harsh coal-mining settlement, high above Westport.

Meet Jenny and listen to her presenting her books and talking about her research for the story. This unique event at the Westport Library is the prelude for the great opening of the new Denniston visitor experience the following day.
