Portraits by Natalie is a variety of naturalistic faces and abstract expressions, by emerging artist Natalie Britten.
The collection are oil on canvas boards, some with a base of acrylic. A portion are of different expressions, using strong contrasts and deep colours; each with own unique style and charm; and one is of Natalie's late grandfather, John Franklin, whose grandfather was NZ watercolour artist, John Gully.
Natalie Britten is also a stand up comedian, performing regularly at The Fringe Bar and has a show coming up in the 2011 NZ Comedy Festival called 'The Nat Pack'.
