Waipu Boutique Sunday Market

Small boutique style market specialising in NZ-made quality goods and tasty treats. Everything from art and craft to jewellery to cheese and wine and produce.

Some of our lovely stalls include NZ art, honey, preserves, oysters, home-cured bacon, woodwork, herbs, plants, soaps, baby clothes, olive oils, cheese, herbal remedies, wooden toys, chocolate & cakes, lavender products, fudge and sweets, outdoor furniture, knitwear, baby gear, etchings and much more.

We only allow NZ hand-made goods and no second hand goods or imports are allowed.

We have live music and we often have performers mingling with the shoppers too over the summer.

We have a wonderful gourmet cafe where I am sure the Queen would enjoy a cuppa, and they serve lovely espresso coffees and teas and wonderful cakes, slices, and savoury gourmet treats.

This small market is great for sourcing handmade items not readily available in the shops.

Come along and shop locally for unique handmade gifts - this market is truly unique and changes monthly - well worth a drive.

We have at least 60 stalls, 20 of which are either usually new each month or seasonal. Stalls often change monthly, so you may not see the same thing twice. New stallholders welcome, but you do have to book ahead.

The regular date for this market is the second Sunday of each month.
The market operates rain or shine, and is mostly indoors.

And, the big bonus is, it's free entry!

This Sunday July 10th we have our special Tartan market day!
Come along and be delighted - we have 60 beautiful stalls booked with loads of new ones. And specially for this Sunday only, we have a stall selling tartan fabric and kilts. The cafe is putting on a special "Tartan Tea" if you'd also like a cuppa and a treat. Please come and have a look.

If you thought the last market looked great on Sunday, wait till you see what new treats we have in store for our first Christmas market on November 28th!
10 new stalls, plus much more to surprise you. Our wonderful Waipu band "The Time Bandits" will be back to entertain you as well. Don't do your Christmas shopping until you've come and had a look here first.

Prenzel liquors, handmade soaps, Murano glass jewellry, emboidery, Hand made Xmas cards plus much more - almost 50 stalls booked! Come and see what's new. All indoors so rain does not bother us.
