This little piggy went to night market, this little piggy stayed home.
This little piggy that went to Rotorua night market visited fruit and vege growers, wine makers, baristas, bakers, jewellers, fishermen, bee keepers, fashionistas, chefs, and got, baking, honey, fresh fruit, veges and free range eggs, Maori design, jewellery, art, preserves, boutique embellishments and home wares, and bought lots of things, this little piggy had none.
And this little piggy that went to Rotorua night market at the heart of Tutanekai Street, every Thursday 5 til 9 cried wee wee wee all the way home with bags full of goodies!
A culinary experience of diversity offering an opportunity to meet the makers and indulge in high end gourmet foods, savour a selection of wine, boutique beers, handcrafted cheese.
Taste authentic artisan products, honeys, preserves, oil, chutney and jams and a variety of ethnic eateries with flavours from around the world, French patisseries, handmade Italian pasta, Indian and of course our local kai.
See, smell and taste fresh seasonal fare, buy your flowers and enjoy fresh brewed coffee with a selection of stunning desserts and cakes while being entertained by a variety of performers.
Be inspired by the array of local New Zealand influenced art from weaving to internationally acclaimed glass works, talk with the interior designers, and jewellers who reflect in their design a Pacific style of retro chic vintage and kiwiana fabrics, accessories and home wares.
