I am thrilled to have some talented local students to perform on the stage during the next Orewa Craft Market & Bazaar. Show time is 10.30 - 11.30 am.
The Orewa College Clarinet Trio consists of Olivia Panzic – a year 13 student and two year 11 students: Rebekah Urquhart and Sofia McDonald. They have all been playing for 6+ years and are grade 6 and above.
They have recently performed for the inaugural meeting of the Board of the new council – set up last year and for the Rotary Club’s annual dinner. They were taking part in the NZ Chamber Music Competition on June 10th. All of the girls play with the school concert band and Rebekah and Sofia also play saxophone in the school jazz band.
